Washington Animal Clinic, Texas, USA

Practicing at Washington Animal Clinic since 1984 and co-owner since 1999 in the 5 veterinarian mixed practice.

I devote my time to equine practice.  A large part of that time is dedicated to lameness. I have always believed that a horse’s soundness starts with the foot. Practicing at Washington Animal Clinic since 1984, I am a co-owner since 1999 in the 5 veterinarian mixed practice.

Over the years I have been fortunate to work with many talented farriers. For the past 15 years plus, I have had the privilege of working with Shon Callahan and together we offer hoof care and corrective farriery. The majority of the horses seen are Quarter horses used in cutting, rodeo, and other show disciplines. In November of 2018, our clinic hosted a FormaHoof seminar.  That seminar was an epiphany for me and gave me another tool for hoof care.

Dilara Pars | Horse Owner | Competition Rider

Dilara Pars

Horse owner and competition rider, Turkey

I have a large show jumper (178cm height) who has been dealing with a hoof imbalance problem for over 3 years. His steep heel has always been a problem to shoe as he had so little hoof wall that there was hardly ever a place to put the nails in. And even if we did manage to get nails in and shoe the horse, the hoof would crack within 2 weeks and cause an even greater problem.

While trying to find a solution over the years and trying many “hoof strengthening/ growing” products to make things better, we came across a presentation of FormaHoof over the internet.  I immediately decided to write and ask for an opinion on how we can make things work out better for my horse. That’s when Rob contacted me and walked me through the process and how FormaHoof could help.

Certified barefoot trimmer at JB Hoof Care, Illinois, USA

I am a certified barefoot trimmer through Ida Hammer’s Applied Whole Horse Hoof Care Program,

my experience with FormaHoof began when a client researched the product as an alternative tool to help her thin soled horse transition from shod to barefoot. Although I had heard of FormaHoof before, I did not have experience applying it. I knew that Dr. Debra Taylor of Twin Creeks Podiatry was having success with FormaHoof on countless horses, so we decided to reach out to her to see if this horse was a good candidate.

Jessica Schwartz | Horse Trainer

Horse owner, California, USA

FormaHoof has been a lifesaver for my horse, literally.  He was diagnosed and this was our last shot to save him.  He suffered from laminitis over a 3 year period and had a 14% rotation with extremely thin sole.

Within hours of his first application we saw immediate results. He was more comfortable and able to bear weight on his laminitic hoof. This allowed exercise to promote faster healing.
